OFA BJ-58G121M - CERF BJ-330/94-139 - HA clear

Zizi is on the Stud Dog Honor Roll, was Top Ten ranked multiple years, and at age 17 had a normal blood panel, healthy heart and lungs urinalysis normal, OFA'd at 10yrs old, is PRA clear and HA negative. How many others in the Basenji world can claim as much?

He is the sire of Champions Jamila's Jamadari (SDHR) and Jamila's Madahiro Re (SDHR) who are the sires of champions, Breed, Group, Best in Show and Specialty Winners in Europe and Australia for they were the first sires of frozen semen puppies using either surgical or transcervical methods in the Basenji breed.

As one well known judge said, "Zizi has the most dynamite front and rear I have ever seen on a Basenji" Also please note the well laid back shoulder and great topline! Zizi has a dark red coat and an affectionate, fun-loving temperament.

Zizi's show career began with 4 majors, and a Best of Breed win on the 5th day. Zizi has 'Major Style' and is truly an "all around Hound": proven on the field, in the ring and as a house companion. Zizi won a the Compendium Award at the Turkey Field Trial by defeating the most Basenjis in 4 days of trials plus having a higher overall score. In the 80's, Zizi was among the select few with multiple Group placements, as well as being a Field Champion.

Even at 6yrs of age, Zizi had a superbly sound stride. His gait is swift with reach and drive to exhibit a long smooth effortless stride. He has true Basenji movement, for he is properly balanced and possesses moderate angulation front and rear. Zizi's rear is strong and muscular with hocks well let down and long second thighs. He has angulation both at the point o hock and at the stifle. He flexes the hock joint well out. His forearm and shoulder blade are of equal length and angulation.

Sadly, Zizi was released from the mortal coil in 2000, and now runs the green, green Elysian fields. He never came down with any diseases and simply succumbed to geriatric comlications.
